Wow, first day. Always a bit apprehensive when starting something new, and potentially life altering. I sat at my desk, wondering and thinking of all the things that might come up in in my phone conversation with the new bosses.

After brief introductions, the discussion began, and rather quickly swayed my apprehension and piqued my interests. Referencing my trusty e-mail and with notepad open, we delved into what was in store for me, and where it might lead, and the wheels in my head began to turn, much sooner than I had expected. As we explored the items in the mail, ideas began to form, thoughts took shape, old skills long since unused poked back into my realm of thought at how I could excel and succeed here.

This looks like a fantastic step forward for me, and I choose to accept the challenges set before me with an anticipation I have not felt in many years. I am glad I chose to take the risk and say yes. Now what remains is push myself forward and do what I can to help the company move forward as well.
